Vitold Smukrovich

Vitold Smukrovich-Narolsky followed the footsteps of his famous predecessors, graduated from the Academy, and became well known for his unique style and rich but delicate colors of his paintings that is now his trademark.

Vitold was born in St Petersburg in 1967. He is a master of color and his delicate paintings look right in the palaces of the European aristocracy as well as in modern homes of the new super-rich where money that was spent on decorum is not an object. His paintings easily becoming central pieces and focal points of large halls, libraries, ball rooms, music rooms and studies.
Vitold’s paintings are in important corporate and private collections, including homes of several Russian oligarchs. His art was first introduced in galleries and salons throughout Russia, then in Poland, France and lately in Hong Kong, Singapore and mainland China.

Asia gave huge boost to Vitold’s fame. His prices skyrocketed especially during the end of the first decade of the new millennium when he had a series of sold-out shows in Beijing and

The Administration of the President of the Russian Federation commissioned Vitold to create two paintings (beautiful and delicate “head portraits”) for the Presidential summer residence in St Petersburg).

The art Vitold creates is a blend of the Russian realistic school, French impressionism with influences of Art deco and Art Nouveau. Two artists that are greatly influenced him are Austrian artist Gustav Klimt and Russian (later American) artist Nikolay Feshin.

Many in Russia compare Vitold’s paintings to Renoir. The Chopin family finally produced another giant!
