By the eclectic 80s’, Florencia Aise decided to seal an amazing alliance with pencils, pens brushes and even any white space where she could express herself. Her goal was and still until today always very clear. It was letting the world know that it is full of beauty and joy that can be express on different tones of colors and textures, in small actions and daily common life facts.
It was then, when she felt that the best way to perpetuate this treasure was by depicting every single thing that surrounded her. This skillful and polished artist began to take her first artistic strokes to achieve her purpose at the early age of 4 years old.
During those early days, some Great Masters of Art became important influential references such as Diego Velazquez and Francisco Goya, among others.
Her studies required many hours of learning, investigating and testing, but always with the support and encourage from her family; guidance and valuable advices from colleagues. Absolutely critical pieces in order for her to follow her passion path way in the world of painting from Mendoza (Argentina), her local city.
When Forencia was 16 years old, her work had already being quoted and started being looked for by private collectors, who were also capable of reading the sensitivity and the power of Florencia’s extraordinary proposals.
Every oil on canvas which is also her favorite technique, is always an invitation to discover an effort that is searching for perfection.
Not being all said. Classical training and her ongoing search and journey to cross new boundaries , was taken to extreme by an internal debate that invite her to an attractive artistic confrontation in which she was encouraged to experiment with latex, synthetic enamels, dry pigments, diluents water and oil paints, watercolors, tempera, polish. The result enhanced its production and reflected the different versions with which the artist can surprise us from the easel.
Now, she has the perfect mix between knowledge and experience that she got after her intense voyage in the artistic world, which include a bachelor degree as an Industrial Designer. On her latest pieces of work, this captivating artist has developed a distinct and remarkable technique to represent by paint the beauty of the little things, those that we often miss when they no longer belong to us. “The world can fit in a water drop” is the main sense of her hyperrealism’s work. Is the maximum of her works in hyperrealism, where her drawing by being careful and faithful come to question the identity of the original model. Such a perfect synthesis thrown on the canvas which is imposed on her collage, but also brimming with dynamism and strength in her recognized Florencia’s series of horses that appear to gallop forever.
Although her color palette has been dominated by the ochre, Florencia Aise is ready to surprise with a new range of tones and themes. Because the alliance, sealed with pencils, brushes, and fabrics for nearly three decades, is still alive more than ever.
Hopefully, there's more Hyper Reality... There's more Art in Motion.
Anyone who would like to know who this plastic artist is, will have to browse through her early years in Mendoza (Argentina), her home city. Even as a child, Florencia Aise, already showed attraction for painting instead of playing with dolls and toys. At first she grabbed brushes and crayons, and would start creating a doodle on fabrics or paper, then a stroke and finally, a drawing.
With the support of her family and an environment inclined to art, her curiosity was transformed into an intense vocation, in which the Great Masters of Art, as Goya and Diego Rivera, became her first referents.
Afterwards, came the time when she started to visit several ateliers, where she listened to the pieces of advice generous colleagues had to offer. They taught her about different techniques and styles, and how to work with shades and textures. All of these were necessary stages which helped her start to crystallize the dream of having a career as a plastic artist.
Everything happened very fast, so much so that at age 16, Florencia had already provoked admiration for her oils on canvas, her favorite technique, in which she was defined for her naturalistic tone with incredible realism. Her first exhibitions became unexpected successes. In fact, the first art works of this self-educated artist were acquired by an Argentinian private collector.
Nowadays, with the maturity achieved during such an intense trajectory, that included her degree as an Industrial Designer, Aise has developed a unique technique to portray the beauty of little things, those that we usually miss when they do not belong to us anymore. “Todo el mundo cabe en una sola gota de agua” (The whole world fits in a single drop of water) is her top art work of hyperrealism, in which her careful and faithful drawings question the identity of the original model.
Something similar happens with her recognized Horses series. Thanks to its dynamism and energy, they seem to gallop eternally. And when we thought we knew everything about her, this artist amazes us again with her collages anthology. She shows a considerable versatility when taking everyday objects and turning them into small, significant doses.
Her thorough search for beauty and perfection has taken her to destinations as precious as Rome and New York, where her art work has not gone unnoticed.
Even the Miami Art Basel Week has witnessed the emotion that her images provoke, which advance towards the spectator as a punch loaded with fury, but end the journey as a caress to the soul that in a few seconds, becomes impossible to forget.
2004. Solo exhibition in the art gallery of La Rural winery. Mendoza. (Argentina).
